Will you bake me something?

Absolutely. Tell me what you'd like and I'll be happy to. I don't deliver usually, so you'll have to either come pick it up, or if you are very far away, I'll bake it for you and post a blog about it with lots of pictures that you can drool over.

I'm a close friend I thought... *mutters* Why didn't I get a cake for my birthday??

Well, probably because your birthday comes at a particularly busy time in my life. If your birthday is in April, May, or December, good luck, and I'm sorry. We are likely very good friends, but you were born at the wrong time.

Since I can't have one on my birthday, can I have one now?

Rain checks on cakes, especially birthday ones, are not available. Never fear though, I'm always baking stuff, so if you're around, there will be treats to snack on.

Can we cook something together??

Maybe. Baking is my time to relax, so if spending many hours with you is relaxing and you are willing to stay up until all hours listening to music and making food, certainly.

What is fondant?

It's like edible play doh made of marshmallows and sugar. Some people love the taste of it, but it is mostly used to make elegant or elaborate cakes. I used to be terrified of  making it, but got over that fear.

Can you make something that looks like . . . ??

YES. I love challenges. Give me your most random and absurd ideas and I will do my best to make them come to life!
